Copyist manuscript in ink, with comments in other hands.
"This must be put in a Flat 3d, lower. Tis always performed in that Key" ; "This is a mistake. J[oseph].C[orfe]." ; "Not so. A.C[orfe]." ; "used in A at Sar[um] A.C." ; "Always sung in this key at Sallisbury" -- f. 33
[at end] "This is decidedly the best key, namely Bb & I should think originally so composed by Jer. Clarke altho' Dr Boyce has put it in G"
Watermark: "Pro patria ejusque libertate" in crowned circle round standing lion holding arrows and banner above "Vryheyt"; countermark ""GR" under crown in circle.
