Description

Double and single chants for SATB.
Manuscript in the hand of Thomas Barrow, whose initials "TB" appear on the first page of each copy.
Three copies, the first (4 leaves) contains only nos. 1-28, the second (4 leaves) contains nos. 1-14, 29-47, the third (5 leaves, on smaller paper) contains the melody and bass only (organ part?) of nos. 1-47.
Watermark (copies 1-2): Batavian lion in crowned double circle ; countermark: "GR" below crown.

Anglican chants.

2 ms. scores (f. 180-183v, 184-187v) + 1 close score (f. 188-192) ; 34 cm.
