Description

Thick lead glass, with shallow cutting and pierced silver cap. The pear-shaped caster is supported on a depressed beaded knop on a circular foot. The lower part of the caster is decorated with two and a half rows of shallow diamonds above which are eight tapering vertical depressions, each with four horizontal facets. The knop has eight beads, and the heavy foot has eight facets round its edge. The unmarked domed silver cover is pierced by numerous small circular holes forming a curved T-shape and three semi-circular areas each pierced by four holes.
