Coverboards covered in white linen. There is an elastic band (now stretched) attached to the front cover. Leaves are off white perforated paper. Collocation: six gatherings containing the following number of folios: seven (one attached to the front cover); nine; eight; eight; eight; seven (one attached to back cover).

The book contains engravings, studies of plants and a lizard, studies of a scene with classical architecture and a baby, figure studies, studies of bicycles, studies of a cat, a dog and a horse. Page 14 recto has a list of words, possibly titles of pieces the artist is offering for sale. On Page 1 recto, pasted in leaf from book 'Great Claus and Little Claus'.
