Clear glass, cut, wheel-engraved, polished and gilt. Facetted ogee bowl; facetted baluster stem with basal collar; plain circular foot. Decorated with a continuous boar and stag hunt in a landscape; gilt band round rim. On the foot there are radiating oval cuts and a circle of paired leaves.
History note: Title of sale, Catalogue of the well-known collection of fine Continental glass formed by the late Viktor Schick, Esq., of Prague, The Property of Mrs Hedwig Schick, p. 15, no. 52, third part; H.S. Reitlinger (d.1950); the Reitlinger Trust, Maidenhead, from which transferred in 1991.
