‘Harlequinade’ (pattern number 2115-2118) was introduced in 1968, along with five other designs featuring abstract shapes and contrasting colours, each was available in different colourways. They drew on a visit Susie Cooper made to ‘swinging’ London and the geometric forms of Op Art, and show her skill in interpreting contemporary trends. She first introduced the 'Can' shape in 1958.
