Collocation: four gatherings, containing the following number of leafs: eight (one attached to front cover); eight (with an odd leaf slipped in between f.8 verso and f.9 recto); eight; eight (one attached to back cover). One watercolour with grid, standing woman with ?male figure clasping her at the knee.

This sketchbook contains preliminary sketches for engravings, portrait studies including one identified as 'KA Cox' and possible early working ideas for the following engravings: 'May Morning', [28 and 62] 1910 PD.1149-1974 'Gypsies' [34] 1910 'The Execution' [17] 1910 PD.1152-1974. ('The Prodigal Son').
