Coverboards covered with white linen. Off-white paper. Collocation: four gatherings containing the following number of leafs: eight (one attached to front cover); eight; eight; six (one attached to back cover and two probably removed). Page 8 top half removed. Mostly studies for paintings/engravings and portrait studies. Studies especially featuring skeletal parts, sheep, women, babies, outline figures often moving and folds of cloth. In watercolour: figures in clearing (?classical) (4 verso and 5 recto), skeleton riding piggyback on female artist (11, verso), inverted studies of woman dancing with raised arms (13, verso), inverted study of three-armed ?musketeer (24, recto).
