History note: Provenance: purchased from J. and J. Leighton 1891. Bibliotheca Heberiana (stamp). C P (bkpl.). Cornelius Paine's sale 1891. Cutting from bookseller's cat. tipped in on front paste-down e.p. Ms. inscr. on front free e.p.: 'Egerton's Auction Major Pearson's Library Aug. 14th 1788' in M. Wodhull's hand.
