Coverboards covered in white linen. Off-white paper. Collocation: four gatherings containing the following number of leafs: eight (one attached to front cover); seven (one torn out); eight; eight (one attached to back cover). Many blank pages: 2(verso)-6(verso) inclusive, 12(recto), 27(verso), mostly figure studies, partial figure studies and outdoor sketches; last pages of book dedicated to studies of sheep shearing. Titled studies include 'horse chesnut' and 'Andre Gide'.
