Description

Stoneware, with impressed decoration, and speckled grey, and thin brown glazes. Of elongated oval plan with straight slightly tapering sides, and incurved shoulders and neck which expands into a wide rimmed mouth. The body is decorated with vertical rows of horizontal indentations - reminiscent of the marks made by a rake or of cuneiform. The interior and the exterior of the rim is coated in speckled grey glaze, and the rest of the body in thin, uneven brown glaze.
