Gold, hair, seed pearls and glass. Octagonal gold frame containing on one side a curl of pale greyish-brown hair with near its narrow end, a trefoil of gold wire, and a long curved wavy, two strand twisted wire, over a white ridged background. On the other side there is light brown hair arranged in four different directions, with over it in the centre the initials, AA, in seed pearls. At the top on an angle there is loop and a facetted ring for suspension. The circular box (A) covered in dark blue leather, lined with purple velvet and white silk, was not made for the pendant.
