Description

Plate.Hard paste porcelain, relief moulded, and painted underglaze in blue with an iron brown rim. Circular with shallow rounded sides, and sloping border with slightly raised scalloped rim, standing on a footring. Finely moulded around the border and cavetto with hares leaping over waves around a lobed reserve for the central painting in underglaze blue of Kanzan and Jittoku in landscape. The back is undecorated. Five spur marks on the base.
