Frtiware painted in three colours under a colourless glaze
Fritware, mould made, painted in blue, green and black under a colourless glaze.
Forms part of a panel comprising twenty three tiles. Fragment cut from a larger tile, which appears to abut the larger tile (C.4J-1928) and smaller fragment (C.4S-1928), forms part of a 2nd row of five tiles, comprising one other large tile (C.4D-1928) and one other smaller sections (C.4P-1928).
Upper surface: painted with a blue tulip and rosette both with green leaves, all outlined black. This, combined with bunches of grapes, forms the background to the principal design on the rest of the panel comprising festooned manderolas linked by sinuous stems, both outlined in black, bordered with turquoise and containing floral sprays reserved in blue with green or turquoise.
Lower surface: undecorated except for splashes of glaze and areas of plaster
