Buff fritware with turquoise glaze
Fritware, probably wheel thrown, with crazed opaque turquoise opaque glaze.
Shape: Pear shaped small jug on a low foot ring and a trefoil mouth is joined to the body via a collared neck. A strap handle, with thumb rest at highest point, is attached to the mouth and vessel body.
Exterior: Lightly incised concentric line, on the mid-body. Opaque, crazed turquoise glaze covers the vessel body and partially covers the foot ring.
Interior: Only mouth visible, this is covered with an opaque turquoise glaze identical to that on the vessel exterior.
