He wears classical drape over his shoulder, fastened on the right shoulder with a circular brooch. On circular pedestal. Inscribed on the black in ink 'Cast from the original bust of Beethoven in possession of the Philharmonic Society of London. G.F. Anderson Hon. Treasurer/illegible/Fredk Bowen-Jewson/Joseph Williams.'
