Description

Bronze, cast, and patinated. Mrs Griffiths sits facing the front with her head slightly tilted to her right, looking downwards in a resigned manner. Her hair is drawn back into a loose curl or roll in the nape of her neck. She has sloping, rounded shoulders, and an ample bosom. The upper part of her dress is not clearly defined, but the lower parts of its long sleeves are shown. Her knees are apart under her skirt, and she rests her clasped hands in her lap. The figure is supported by a pillar with a domed foot.
