Under a canopy in the centre niche is the figure group of the Virgin and Child. The Virgin holds an apple and the Child blesses with the right hand. On either side are two tiers of niches with canopies, and under each are two saints. In the top left are two female saints. In the bottom left is St Lawrence, holding a grid iron in his right hand and a palm in his left hand, and a bishop, holding a book in one hand and a palm in the other. In the top right is St Dorothy(?), holding a basket (?) with a double handle over the top of it in one hand and a palm in the other, and a female saint, holding a plate (?) in one hand and a palm in the other.
