Bust of Madame Sappé. Wax, coloured flesh, red, grey and yellowish-grey. Bust of an old and wrinkled woman in profile to right with her hair swept up into a high chignon, wearing a low-necked dress edged with lace. Black background. In a rectangular gilt-wood frame with a glass top, set in a larger ebonized wood frame.
