Description

Pastoral scene. Wax, coloured in flesh, shades of brown, beige, dull brownish-orange and shades of green, grey, and black. A shepherd wearing a hat, reclines on a rock beside an orange tree with his dog lying to the left and a sheep to the right. In the background there are two more trees, and on the right, a distant building. In rectangular gilt wood and glass frame, partly covered with dark purplish-red velvet.
