Description

Abstract figurative sculpture composed of two standing, headless figures: the seemingly elderly, slightly stooped, cloaked figure on the left embracing the taller, muscular figure on the right. Wright's title 'Prodigal Son' refers to Jesus' parable of the same name (Luke 15:11-32). Wright's sculpture presumably depicts the moment the unnamed father welcomes home his errant younger son in the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32).
