Madonna and Child
Sculptor: Dick, William Reid
White marble. The Madonna sits cross-legged on a roughly hewn rectangular base. She wears a headscarf and a long gown carved with folds to emphasise the contours of her body. The upper part of her body is turned slightly to the right as she lifts the infant Christ up to her right shoulder and kisses him on the back of his neck and shoulder.
