Description

Study of portion of branching woody stem with leaves, fruits, flower and bud and a separate study of dissection of a fruit showing the seeds. Brown strokes of watercolour, upper right, appear as if the artist was trying to obliterate something painted in error. The bodycolour has flaked off in several places on two of the fruits. Removed from album and mounted separately.
