Diptych with modern hinges. Ivory, carved with trefoil arches under which are the following scenes:
a) Top left: Annunciation and Visitation
b) Bottom left: Virgin and Child with two angels
c) Top right: Last Judgement
d) Bottom right: Crucifixion with Virgin and St John

This fine work seems to belong to a group of ivories associated with the beautiful triptych from St Sulpice de Tarn (in the Musée Cluny) ascribed to the first half of the 14th century. See Documention, Koechlin, 1918.
