Note

The scene of Judas taking money from the High Priests is not common, though it occurs on ivories associated by Koechlin (1905) with the Soissons Diptych in the Victoria & Albert Museum (211-1865), and on the 'rose' group. The Betrayal is unusual in omitting Malchus and St Peter, thought it is similar to the scene on the Soissons Diptych, and on the ivory in the victoria and Albert Museum (367-1871) which belongs to the 'rose' group.

The two wings are 1/4in. shorter than the centre panel.
