Needlework sampler with alphabet and number lines above five lines of religious verse, and a repeating border, worked by Susannah Edwards, a ‘Liberated African’, in a Church Missionary School, in Bathurst, Sierra Leone, Africa, in December 1833, for a UK-based sponsor.
