Soft-paste porcelain teapot and cover, painted onglaze with flowers in polychrome enamels, and gilt.
Soft-paste porcelain painted onglaze in red, yellow, green, pink and purple enamels, and gilt. The globular teapot has a curved spout and ribbed loop handle, supported on a low footring; the slightly domed cover is surmounted by an open flower knob with leaf terminals. Both sides are painted with a central bouquet of flowers surrounded by a smaller scattered sprigs. There is a puce flowerhead at the base of the spout, and a gilt star on the handle; the cover is decorated en suite, with a gilt line border.
