Soft-paste porcelain teapot and cover, painted in 'famille-rose' style with two ladies and a boy standing in a garden in polychrome enamels, and gilt.
Soft-paste porcelain teapot and cover, painted in red, green, blue, pink, brown and black enamels, and gilt. The ovoid teapot is moulded with sixteen concave flutes and stands on a low wedge-shaped footring. It has a curved spout and ribbed loop handle. The slightly domed cover has an open flower knob. The teapot is painted on both sides in 'famille-rose' style with two ladies and a boy standing in a fenced garden, beside a table and a flowering tree, with details picked out in gilding. The shoulders are banded with a gilt line, a florette on the handle, and Buddhist emblems on the spout. The cover is decorated en suite.
