Soft-paste porcelain cream jug, painted in red, yellow, green, blue, black and pink enamels. The pear shaped jug has a sparrow beak spout and grooved loop handle, on a low footring. It is painted in famille rose style with the 'Spinning Maiden' pattern, a flowering shrub growing from rockwork on the reverse. The interior rim is banded with an iron-red loop and dot border.
