Soft-paste porcelain tea cup, decorated with birds and insects underglaze in scale-blue, onglaze in polychrome enamels, and gilt.
Soft-paste porcelain tea cup, decorated underglaze in scale-blue, onglaze in green, yellow, pink, red, purple and grey enamels, and gilt. Circular with rounded sides and loop handle with kick terminal. On the outside, the scale-blue ground is reserved with two shaped cartouches of dishevelled birds in coloured enamels, separated by smaller vase-shaped and triangular panels of insects, all edged with gilt rococo scrollwork. Below there is a gilt band; and on the back of the handle, a gilt scroll.
