Description

Soft-paste porcelain cream jug, transfer-printed onglaze in greyish-purple, painted in polychrome enamels with scenes of classical ruins, and gilt.

Soft-paste porcelain cream jug, transfer-printed onglaze in greyish-purple, painted in blue, green, yellow, red and brown enamel colours and gilt. Pear-shaped body standing on a footring; loop handle. Printed on one side with 'Ruins with Obelisk' and on the other with 'Ruins by a Lake'.
