Soft-paste porcelain tea bowl and saucer, painted underglaze in blue. Circular cup with deep curved sides and six-lobed rim. The exterior of the cup and inside of the saucer are decorated with the 'Prunus Root' pattern; the inside of the cup is decorated with a central sprig and below the rim with two sprays and a butterfly.
