Soft-paste porcelain coffee cup and saucer, painted on the outside with the 'Jabberwocky' pattern onglaze in red, green, 'dry-blue' and turquoise enamels, and gilt.
Soft-paste porcelain coffee cup and saucer, painted onglaze in red, green, 'dry-blue' and turquoise enamels, and gilt. The circular cup has tall fluted sides, with scalloped rim; supported on a low footring, the strap handle with kick terminal. The saucer with fluted out-turned sides, on footring. The cup is painted on the outside with the 'Jabberwocky' pattern, the inside with a turquoise border, edged with gilt rococo scrolls, interspersed with red trellis diaper vignettes and oriental flowers.
