Soft-paste porcelain vase, painted in Japanese style underglaze in blue and onglaze in red, blue and green enamels and gilt.
Soft-paste porcelain vase, painted underglaze in blue and onglaze in red, blue and green enamels and gilt. The vase is of circular flared trumpet shape, with knopped body, on a flared foot, with flattened footring. Painted with a blue-scale ground, reserved with two gilt-edged rococo panels painted in Japanese style with the 'Wheatsheaf' pattern and a long-tailed bird surrounded by a floral pattern in smaller triangular and vase-shaped panels.
