Easton, M.P., later Lord Cheylesmore; his sale, Christie's, 7 May 1892, lot 38, 'River scene with woodland banks'; with Scharf, from whom bought by Nicholas Argenti, 1 February 1953, (£100); by descent to his daughter, Mrs Ann Conran, from whom purchased through Harari and Johns Ltd.
