Soft-paste porcelain teapot and cover, painted with onglaze enamel colours reserved against a pale yellow ground, and gilt. The globular teapot has a curved spout and ribbed loop handle, supported on a low footring. The slightly domed cover has an open flower knob with two leaf terminals. Each side is painted in red, green, purple and 'dry-blue', with a large bouquet surrounded by smaller scattered flower sprigs, on a yellow ground; the handle and spout with purple trefoils above gilt scrollwork; the neck with a gilt wavy line between two gilt bands. The cover is decorated en suite, with naturalistically coloured flower knob.
