Soft-paste porcelain junket dish, painted with scale-pattern ground in blue underglaze, onglaze in polychrome enamels and gilt.
Soft-paste porcelain junket dish, painted with scale-pattern ground in blue underglaze, onglaze in red, yellow, green, pink, purple and 'dry-blue' enamels and gilt. The circular deep dish has a fluted out-turned rim, with scalloped edge of 16 intersections, the well with a central indented scalloped-edge medallion. The blue-scale ground is reserved with two large gilt scroll-edged panels painted with floral festoons, separated by two smaller panels, and with four similar vignettes at the gilt-banded rim; the centre is painted with three large butterflies.
