Soft-paste porcelain milk or cream jug, 'pencilled' in black enamel. Pear-shaped with a sparrow-beak spout, curved neck edges, and harp-shaped handle. On the front a man, holding an umbrella and a bird, stands in a garden; on his left there is a fence and a pine tree; on his right, a vase and in the distance further up, a building beside a tree.
