Description

Soft-paste porcelain plate, bat-printed in greyish-black, and gilt.

Soft-paste porcelain plate, bat-printed in greyish-black, and gilt. The circular plate has an out turned rim, and shallow, concave sides, standing on a low footring. It is printed in the centre with a shell, within a gilt line medallion, the rim with four larger shells among seaweed, the rim banded in gilt.
