Soft-paste porcelain vase, decorated with an underglaze blue ground, and reserves painted with Chinese landscapes in blue, black, iron-red and green enamels, and gilt.
Soft-paste porcelain vase, painted in blue underglaze, black, iron-red and green enamel, and gilt. The vase is of bellied beaker shape, with flared mouth and foot, and stands on low ground footring. It is painted on each side with Chinese landscapes in lobed and barbed quatrefoil panels, in reserve on a runny underglaze dark blue ground. There is a red spearhead border round the inside rim. In a pair with C.147-1932.
