Description

Soft-paste porcelain teabowl and saucer, moulded in low relief with a floral motif.

Soft-paste porcelain tea bowl and saucer, moulded in low relief. Both pieces have shallow, rounded sides, and stand on wedge-shaped footrings. They are moulded with three beaded medallions separated by three vertical tapering trellis panels, from which spring flowering branches.

Notes

History note: Bought from Mr Harrington Smith, St Anne's, Lowestoft, July 15th 1910, for 6 gns, who noted in a letter of 4th July that he had bought them from a local family.
