Soft-paste porcelain mug, decorated with flower sprays in onlglaze polychrome enamels.
Soft-paste porcelain mug, painted in red, pink, purple, yellow and green enamels. The cylindrical mug flares slightly at the foot and has a scrolled strap handle with kick terminal. It is painted on one side with an overflowing cornucopia of flowers, the reverse with a bouquet and scattered sprigs. The inside rim is banded with alternate scrolls and flowerheads.
History note: Bought from the Merton Thoms Collection, sold Christie's. 11th February, 1910, part of lot 187, £5 15s 6d.
