Soft-paste porcelain bowl, painted with Oriental scenes in underglaze blue.
Soft-paste porcelain bowl, painted underglaze in blue. The circular bowl has shallow, rounded sides, and stands on a wedge-shaped footring. It is painted on the outside with vases of flowers and a Chinese lady holding a parasol in a garden, the inside with the inscription 'John. Wright. Wangford. 1768'. There is a scroll and arrow border around the inside of the rim.
