Hard-paste porcelain painted in enamels and gilt.
Hard-paste porcelain, press-moulded, painted overglaze in blue, green, yellow, flesh pink, pink, red, purple, brown, and black enamels and gilt. The unglazed underside has a large D-shaped hole which rises into the group. The group stands on a square base with straight sides. Winged and bearded Time stands, lifting Truth up onto his left shoulder. A putto holding a mallet in his right hand and a mask in his left hand reclines with his legs between Time's feet. Time has golden wings, and is nude, apart from a cloth decorated with floral sprays and a yellow lining which is draped across his loins and hangs down to the ground at the back. Truth has a pink drape, a belt with a green cabochon gem at the front, and brown sandals.
