Cardboard covered sketchbook. Spine covered in vellum. 91 leaves. The following leaves have been removed: 1 following f.12; 1 following f.14; 1 following f.61; 1 following f.82; 1 following f.88 and 1 following f.90. The leaves have been numbered in graphite, in upper right corner, however, a leaf between f.69 and f.70 has been omitted and consequently all of the numbers following f.69 must be increased by 1. The covers have been illustrated thus: front inside cover, two slight sketches of an archway and rear inside cover, slight sketch of ornament.
