Hybrid hard-paste porcelain teaset, painted with sprays of flowers in pink enamel, and gilt. Pattern no. 223

Hybrid hard-paste porcelain teaset, decorated overglaze with pink enamel and gilt. Comprising a teapot and cover of 'silver' shape, a milk jug, sugar basin and cover, a slop basin, two plates of different sizes, two tea bowls, two coffee cups and two saucers. Each piece is decorated with a wide band of pink enamel between narrow gold bands and with scattered floral sprigs in gold. In addition, the milk jug has two sprays of leaves below the lip, and the teapot has sprays of leaves and formal ornament on the shoulder and further formal ornament on spout and handle. Pattern no. 223
