Hard-paste porcelain inkwell, decorated with a man in a landscape in underglaze blue enamel.
Hard-paste porcelain, painted underglaze in blue. The inkwell is of waisted cylindrical shape with a splayed base and unglazed footring. The slightly concave shoulders are pierced with four pen holes, and the central circular well has a flared mouth. The sides are painted with a man crossing a bridge between two islands, the reverse with a sketchy mountain. The shoulders are banded in a cell diaper and loop and dot border.
