Bone china, moulded, glazed, painted with birds and flowers in polychrome enamels and gilt.
Bone china, painted underglaze in blue, and onglaze in pale blue, green, yellow, pink, red, pale brown, and grey enamels, and gilt. Small ovoid body with a curved shoulder, facetted spout and ear-shaped handle with a kick at the lower end. The circular cover has a globular knob. The body of the pot is decorated with panels of birds in landscapes reserved in a wide band of blue ground, with gold floral sprays between them. Below on each side there is an Oriental bird on the left of a rock, flowering plants and heaps of fruit in a tray. The shoulder is encircled by a continuous spray of narrow gold leaves and berries. The spout and the back of the handle are gold overall and there are gold bands round the foot, shoulder and mouth. The cover has two shaped panels of a bird in a landscape reserved in a blue ground with gold floral sprays between them. There is a gold band round the edge and the knob is gold overall.
