History note: Johann Karl Brönner (Lugt 307), bequeathed as part of his collection to the to the Frankfurt city museum in April, 1810; transferred to the Frankfurt library and in 1870 to the Städel Institute, later the Staedelsches Kunstinstitut (Lugt 2396 - used for duplicates); sold as a duplicate, 5 October and 5 following days, by C. G. Boerner, Leipzig.
