"This edition of 440 copies is set in 13-point Poliphilus and Blado and printed at Whittington on a special making of Zerkall mould-made paper. 352 copies are half-bound by the Fine Bindery in buckram with an enlarged linocut by John Craig; 60 copies are similarly bound in Oasis leather with a portfolio of a selection of the engravings; and 28 copies are bound by James Brockman to a design by himself and John Craig, with a portfolio of the engravings" - colophon. Museum has copy no. xxi, signed by the artist, with portfolio of 12 engravings (one coloured), an information sheet by James Brockman on the binding, together with an information sheet on Whittington Press. Binding: spine and foredge turquoise leather with red leather line; sides have sea-scape print on front and back over which there is a sheet of transparent vellum. Page edges silver. In slipcase.
